If A can do a job in hours, then A can do of the job in 1 hour.

Likewise, if A and B can do a job in hours, A and B can do of the job in 1 hour.

The fraction of the job that B could do by himself in one hour is then . And then B can do the whole job in the reciprocal of that number.

Just do the arithmetic.
