Chad rate:: 1/2 job/hr
Cassie rate:: 1/3 job/hr
Together rate:: 1/x job/hr

Equation:
rate + rate = together rate
1/2 + 1/3 = 1/x
3x + 2x = 6
5x = 6
x = 1 1/5 hr = 1hr 12 min (time to do the job together)
