You can put this solution on YOUR website! The original ratio of 2:3 means x/y = 2/3
 Add 4 to vanilla to get the ratio of 3:4, so, (x+4)/y = 3/4

 -------------------------------------------------------

 x/y = 2/3

 x = (2/3)*y

 ----------------

 (x+4)/y = 3/4

 4(x+4) = 3y

 4x+16 = 3y

 4(2/3)y+16 = 3y

 (8/3)y+16 = 3y

 16 = 3y - (8/3)y

 16 = (9/3)y - (8/3)y

 16 = [(9/3) - (8/3)]y

 16 = [(9-8)/3]y

 16 = (1/3)y

 16*3 = y

 48 = y

 y = 48

 ---------------

 x = (2/3)*y

 x = (2/3)*48

 x = 96/3

 x = 32

 ---------------

 They sold 32 vanilla cones.
