Question 868895: A man has Rs. 2000 and spends 18% of it. What money has he left now?
Answer by samsnypa27@algebra.com(1) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
First, you have to find 18% of Rs 2000.note:18% is the same as 18/100( eighteen over hundred). And * represents the multiplication sign.
So,18/100 *2000=360.
Then subtract 360 from 2000.(2000-360=1640).
So he's left with Rs 1640
