You can put this solution on YOUR website!
let the number of men be x
No of days taken = x
x men will do 1/x of the job in 1 day
x+10 men
number of days = x-8
(x-8)/(x-10) of the job in 1 day
%28x-8%29%2F%28x%2B10%29+=+1%2Fx
x^2-8x=x+10
x^2-9x-10=0
x^2-10x+x-10=0
x(x-10)+1(x-10)=0
(x-10)(x+1)=0
x=10 OR -1
ignore negative
x=10====> number of men
