if X can do %281%2F4%29 of work in 10 days, means X need 4 times more days to complete the whole work: so, whole work will be done by in 10%2A4=40 days

if Y can do 40% =40%2F100=0.40 of the work in 40 days; so,whole work will be done by in 0.40d=40...=>...d=40%2F0.40 ...=>...d=100 days

and, if Z can do %281%2F3%29 of the work in 13 days, means Z need 3 times more days to complete the whole work:
so, whole work will be done by in 13%2A3=39 days
Therefore, Z will complete the work first.
