You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Five workers install a pipe in 15 hours. How long will it
take 9 workers to install the same pipe at the same rate?

Since five workers install a pipe in 15 hours,
it would take 1 worker 5 times as long or 75 hours

So it would take 9 workers 1%2F9th as long as THAT.

1%2F9th of 75 is 75%2F9 or 25%2F3 or 8%261%2F3 hours or
8 hours and 20 minutes.

Second way:

Use the worker-time-job formula, which is:

%28W%5B1%5DT%5B1%5D%29%2FJ%5B1%5D%22%22=%22%22%28W%5B2%5DT%5B2%5D%29%2FJ%5B2%5D

where

W1 = the number of workers in the first situation.
T1 = the number of time units (hours in this case) in the first situation.
J1 = the number of jobs in the first situation.

W2 = the number of workers in the second situation.
T2 = the number of time units (hours in this case) in the second situation.
J2 = the number of jobs in the second situation.

W1 =  5             W2 = 9
T1 = 15             T2 = the unknown quantity
J1 =  1             J2 = 1

%285%2A15%29%2F1%22%22=%22%22%289%2AT%5B2%5D%29%2F1

5%2A15%22%22=%22%229%2AT%5B2%5D

5%2A15%2F9%22%22=%22%22T%5B2%5D

75%2F9%22%22=%22%22T%5B2%5D

25%2F3%22%22=%22%22T%5B2%5D

8%261%2F3%22%22=%22%22T%5B2%5D

8 hours and 20 minutes.
