You can put this solution on YOUR website! Let t=time required to drain the pool with both pumps working Together pump1 and pump2 drains at the rate of 25+5=30 gal/min
 So, our equation to solve is:
 30*t=18000
 t=600 min
 CK
 In 600 min, pump1 drains 5*600=3000 gal
 In 600 min pump2 drains 25*600=15000 gal
 15000+3000=18000
 Hope this helps---ptaylor
