You can put this solution on YOUR website!
It takes Sam h hours to rake the yard, and it takes Emma k hours to rake the yard, where h > k. Let t be the amount of time it takes Sam and Emma to rake the yard working together. Is t less than k, between k and h, or greater than k?

Since h > k, Emma is the faster raker, and she can rake the
yard in only k hours by herself. Therefore when Sam helps
her out, the yard will be raked is even less time than the
k hours it would take her alone, so t < k.
