Question 1033562: 10+20radical6 (I have no radical symbol) / ( divided by) radical 6 -2
Rationalize the demonstrator and simplify the expression. What is the value of b if the answer is expressed in the format a + b radical 6?
I think I am messinibg up the equation somehow. The answers I have are not plugging back in. 2, 5, 10 and 15.
I am confused about the solution.
Thanks.

Question 1037462: Simplify: 3 sqrt 75 ÷ sqrt 27
Here's how I tried to solve it:
3 sqrt 75 ÷ sqrt 27
3 sqrt 25*3 ÷ sqrt 9*3
3*5 sqrt 3 ÷ 3 sqrt 3
15 sqrt 3 ÷ 3 sqrt 3 I then cancel out the 3 radicals to get:
15/3
15/3= 5 (the answer I thought was correct)
I check the answer key,
the correct answer is 25/3.
I'm having trouble figuring out how that could be the answer. I feel like I probably went wrong when I cancelled the radicals.
