Question 993595: Hello!
Hope anyone can help me answer this :)
1.) A—b / a sqrt(b) –b sqrt(a)
2.) ab / a sqrt(b) — b sqrt(a)
The topic is rationalizing denominators using conjugates
Hope anyone can explain it too
Thank you! :)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1.) A—b / a sqrt(b) –b sqrt(a)
-------
%28a-b%29%2F%28a%2Asqrt%28b%29+-+b%2Asqrt%28a%29%29
Multiply NUM and DEN by the conjugate of the DEN a%2Asqrt%28b%29+%2B+b%2Asqrt%28a%29
-->
= %28a-b%29%2A%28a%2Asqrt%28b%29+%2B+b%2Asqrt%28a%29%29%2F%28a%5E2+-+ab%5E2%29
----
You can multiply the 2 terms in the NUM, but that won't accomplish much.
---------------
2.) ab / a sqrt(b) — b sqrt(a)
This is very similar to #1
