Question 720546: Need help with the following please.
Solve. Check for extraneous solutions.
square root 3x + 2 - square root 2x + 7 = 0 (dont know how to type sq. root symbol or exponets)
So far I have the following:
sq. root 3x + 2 = sq. root 2x + 7
9x to the second power + 4 = 4x to the second power + 49
5x to the second power - 45
Don't know what to do from here.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
square root 3x + 2 - square root 2x + 7 = 0

Without the braces for rendering,
sqrt(3x+2)-sqrt(2x+7)=0

As rendered, triple curly braces at left and right,
sqrt%283x%2B2%29-sqrt%282x%2B7%29=0

sqrt%283x%2B2%29=%2Bsqrt%282x%2B7%29 and then square both sides.
3x%2B2=2x%2B7
x=5.
