The radius of the surface of a circle pool is (2+sqrt(xy^5))meter. Express the area of the pool in simplest form.
The answer is supposed to be:
Pi (4+xy^5 +4y^2 sqrt(xy)) m^2
I just dont understand the steps to take to get there Answer by josgarithmetic(39617) (Show Source):
In case of confusion in the final step, for the middle term,
know that . Every TWO occurences of the same factor under the square root radical can be taken outside as a single occurence.
