We are doing properties of radicals.
Evaluate the following radicals if x=4, y=3, and z=8.
52. cube root of (xz) to the -1 power.
Her answer was 2/4 to the cube root.

Evaluate the following radicals if x=4, y=3, and z=8

cube root of (xz) to the -1 power.
Her answer was 2/4 to the cube root.

[ (xz)^(-1]^(1/3)
=(xz)^(-1/3)
=(32)^(-1/3)
= (1/32)^(1/3)
=(1/2)(1/4)^(1/3)
=(1/2) times the cube root of (1/4)
