how do I simplify this? I am so confused.

I'm assuming it's: root%283%2C64%28x+-+3%29%5E3%29. If so, then:

root%283%2C4%5E3+%2A+%28x+-+3%29%5E3%29, which becomes 4(x - 3), or highlight_green%284x+-+12%29
