You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5%2F%28x-2%29-5%2F%28x%5E2-4%29=1%2F%28x%2B2%29 First factor the denominators and look for the lowest common denominator (LCD).
5%2F%28x-2%29-5%2F%28%28x%2B2%29%28x-2%29%29=1%2F%28x%2B2%29
The LCD is: (x+2)(x-2) Notice that if x=-2 or 2 there will be 0 in 1 or more denominators. If we get those answers they are extraneous, or false solutions. Multiply each term by the LCD.

5(x+2)-5=1(x-2)
5x+10-5=x-2
5x+5=x-2
-x+5x+5=-x+x-2
4x+5=-2
4x+5-5=-2-5
4x=-7
4x/4=-7/4

Happy Calculating!!!
