divide both sides by 10:
%2810x%5E2%29%2F10+=+100%2F10+
x%5E2+=+10+
take the square root of both sides:
sqrt%28x%5E2%29+=+sqrt%2810%29+
x+=+sqrt%2810%29+ (plus or minus)
