The function t=1/4 Square Root of 36-h
T=time and H=Height and 36 is the Initial height.
t = 1%2F4sqrt%2836-h%29
:
"What is the height of the object after 1/2 second
replace t with 1/2
1%2F2 = 1%2F4sqrt%2836-h%29
mult both sides by 4, gets rid of the factions
2 = sqrt%2836-h%29
Square both sides:
4 = 36 - h
h = 36 - 4
h = 32 units height after 1/2 second
:
and 1 second?
replace t with 1
1 = 1%2F4sqrt%2836-h%29
mult both sides by 4, gets rid of the factions
4 = sqrt%2836-h%29
Square both sides:
16 = 36 - h
h = 36 - 16
h = 20 units height after 1 second
