(-64/27)^-2/3
The negative means "invert"
The 2 means "square"
The 3 means "take the cube root"
You may do these three operations in any order
and still get the correct answer.
(-64/27)^-(2/3)
1st: Take the cube root so you have smaller numbers, to get:
(-4/3)^(-2)
2nd: Square to get rid of the negative sign, to get:
(16/9)^(-1)
3rd: Invert, to get:
(9/16)
