I think maybe you are misunderstanding the problem. I do you mean
3%2Asqrt%2827%29+? This is actually 3 times the square root of 27!!

Or do you mean
root%283%2C27%29+? This is actually the cube root of 27!!

If you mean the latter root%283%2C27%29+, then this means basically, what number must you cube in order to get 27?

The answer is 3, because 3%5E3=+27.
