I need help solving this radical so no radicals are in the denominator.
8 / (2-sqrt(2))
-----------------------
Multiply numerator and denominator by (2+sqrt(2)) to get:
---
= [8(2+sqrt(2)]/[4+2]
---
= (4/3)(2+sqrt(2)
----
= (8/3) + (4/3)sqrt(2)

8%2F%282+-+sqrt%282%29%29

Multiply numerator and denominator by %282+%2B+sqrt%282%29%29

This gives us: %288%2A%282+%2B+sqrt%282%29%29%29%2F%28%282+-+sqrt%282%29%29%2A%282+%2B+sqrt%282%29%29%29 ----- %288%2A%282+%2B+sqrt%282%29%29%29%2F%284+-+sqrt%282%29%2Asqrt%282%29%29 ------ %288%2A%282+%2B+sqrt%282%29%29%29%2F%284+-+2%29 ---- %288%2A%282+%2B+sqrt%282%29%29%29%2F%282%29 ------ %284cross%288%29%2A%282+%2B+sqrt%282%29%29%29%2Fcross%28%282%29%29 ----- highlight_green%284%282+%2B+sqrt%282%29%29%29 or highlight_green%288+%2B+4sqrt%282%29%29
