You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Divide both side by 4

Take the reciprocal of the exponent -1%2F5,
which is -5 and raise both sides of the
equation to the -5 power:

Remove the parentheses by multiplying the exponents expr%28-1%2F5%29%28-5%29 = 1

w%5E1+=+%28-2%29%5E%28-5%29

w+=+%28-2%29%5E%28-5%29

We use the rule for making a negative exponent positive
by putting it under 1 and changing the sign of the exponent
to positive.
