Question 467591: solve
3V 2x+7 +2=8

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Then it's a cube root, not a square root.
root%283%2C2x%2B7%29+%2B+2+=+8
root%283%2C2x%2B7%29+=+6
Cube both sides
2x + 7 = 216
2x = 209
x = 209/2
