You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Find the average of the x values and the average of the y values.
x: (-3 + -1)/2 = -4/2 = -2
y: (4 + -6)/2 = -2/2 = -1
The midpoint is (-2, -1).

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The midpoint of the x-coordinates is
+%28+-1+%2B+%28-3%29%29+%2F+2+=+-2+
The midpoint of the y-coordinates is
+%28+-6+%2B+4+%29%2F2+=+-1+
The mid-point of the line segment is at (-2,-1)
