Hi
Graph the function
Note: vertex form of a parabola, y=a%28x-h%29%5E2+%2Bk where(h,k) is the vertex
f(x)= -2x^2 + 4x + 1 |y-intercept is (0,1)
f(x)= -2[(x-1)^2 -1] + 1
f(x)= -2(x-1)^2 +2 + 1
f(x)= -2(x-1)^2 + 3 | V(1,3), Parabola opens downward a = -2 < 0
x-intercepts: x = 1 ± sqrt(3/2) x = 1 ± 1.2247
