yes..its exactly like combining like terms...
for example, 5x + 6x = 11x

same way, 5 sqrt%282%29 + 6 sqrt%282%29 = 11 sqrt%282%29

As you know that 3x + 4y cannot be added further as they are not like terms, the same is true for radicals too...for example, 3sqrt%282%29 + 4sqrt%285%29 cannot be added further....
