Square both sides

x%2B4+=+4sqrt%282x-4%29
Square again
x%5E2+%2B+8x+%2B+16+=+16%282x-4%29+=+32x+-+64
x%5E2+-+24x+%2B+80+=+0
(x-4)(x-20) = 0
x = 4
x = 20
