You can put this solution on YOUR website!
sqrt%281184%29
1184/2 = 592
592/2 = 296
296/2 = 148
148/2 = 74
74/2 = 37
1184 = 2*2*2*2*2*37
To find a square root , we need pairs of numbers. We have 2 pair of 2's, so we get
sqrt%281184%29 = 4sqrt(74)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
break it up into its prime factors (lowest factors possible)
1184 of course is divisible by 2 but is divisible 5 times by two and once by 37
2^5x37
1184/2=592 2^1 =2
592/2=296 2^2 =4
296/2=148 2^3 =8
148/2=74 2^4 =16
74/2-37 2^5 =32
37 has no factors
break up the 2's into pairs
2*2=2^2
we can break it into 2^4 and get the square root =2^2=4
so we get sqrt(1184)=4sqrt(2*37)=4sqrt%2874%29
