Question 194082This question is from textbook Saxon Algebra 2
: What is/are the root(s) of f(x)=x^12-16
...is it x = ^3 square root 2? This question is from textbook Saxon Algebra 2
You can put this solution on YOUR website! What is/are the root(s) of f(x)=x^12-16
---------------
Solve x^12-16 = 0
Factor:
(x^6-4)(x^6+4
x = 4^(1/6) or x = (-4)^(1/6)
-------------------------------------
Depending on what level of math you are studying
there are many other roots to discover since a 12
degree polynomial has 12 roots.
