Question 180321: Hello, can you please help me with this Algebra II problem?
I don't know if I should factor it or find a way to simplify
x+3^√x-12 =0 I think i have to factor.
hears a practice problem our teacher gave us. x+2√x-3 =0
(√x+3)(√x-1)
√x+3=0 √x-1=0
2^(√x=-3) (√x=1)
x=-3 x=1

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The practise problem factors nicely.
-------------
Your problem does not and requires you use
the quadratic formula to solve for (sqrt(x)); then square the
answers to solve for x.
-----------------------------
I am assuming your problem is x + 3sqrt(x)-12 = 0
