If im interpreting this correctly do you mean sqrt%28-141%29 If so, then it is an imaginary number, or as they say: i. Anything that has a radical over a negative number is an imaginary number because you need two EXACT numbers that equal that number and to get two numbers that multiply to be negative only ONE can be negative so there is no square root of a negative number. If you meant sqrt%28141%29 Then yes, it is a real number because you will get a square number (even though decimal). It may not equal a rational number but it IS a real number.
