Remember: Square has 45 degress angle on the diagonal, since all sides are equal.
Then by Pyth Theorem., given diagonal=10 inches:
sin%28alpha%29=opp%2Fhyp
given hyp=10" and %28alpha%29=45deg
sin%28alpha%29=opp%2F10 cross multiply
opp=sin%2845%29%2810%29=7.07inches
ANSWER: A --------> 5sqrt%282%29=7.07inches
