You can use a calculator to calculate this problem in one step, but here's an algebraic way to do it:


root%283%2C729%29 Start with the given expression.


root%283%2C9%5E3%29 Rewrite 729 as 9%5E3. Note: 729=9%5E3


9 Take the cube root of 9 cubed to just get 9. Note the cube root of anything cubed is itself (ie root%283%2Cx%5E3%29=x


So root%283%2C729%29=9
