Notice if we look at the graph, we can see that the graph extends in both directions. This means that we can plug in any x-value. So in turn, this tells us that the domain is all real numbers. Also from the graph, the lowest point appears to be at (-1,-6). So the smallest that y can be is -6. So the range is y%3E=-6



So the domain is: x is the element of all real numbers

and the range is: y%3E=-6
