Question 312030: how do you write in standard form y = 1/3(x-2)^2 + 4? I know how to do some of the problem. I'm stuck on how to get rid of the 1/3.
y = 1/3(x-2)^2 + 4
y = 1/3(x^2 - 4x + 4) + 4
y = (x^2)/3 - 4x/3 + 4/3 + 4 or 3y = x^2 - 4x + 8
This is where I am stuck....help please!!!!!!
