The directrix is on the other side of the vertex from the focus and is x=-6, y is unrestricted. The general point for the directrix is any of (-6,y). The parabola is a general point, (x,y). Following the definition of a parabola, form the equation:

sqrt%28%28x-3%29%5E2%2B%28y-0%29%5E2%29=sqrt%28%28x-%28-6%29%29%5E2%2B%28y-y%29%5E2%29;
Simplify that and put into either general form or standard form.
