You can put this solution on YOUR website!
How do I find the standard form of this Hyperbola?
Standard form of a hyperbola with vertical transverse axis which given hyperbola is:
%28y-k%29%5E2%2Fa%5E2-%28x-h%29%5E2%2Fb%5E2=1(h,k)=(x,y) coordinates of center
3y^2-x^2=25
divide both sides by 25
y%5E2%2F%2825%2F3%29-x%5E2%2F25=1
For given hyperbola:
center(0,0)
a^2=25/3
b^2=25
