2(81x^4-y^4)

2((9x^2)^2-(y^2)^2)

2(9x^2-y^2)(9x^2+y^2)

2((3x)^2-y^2)(9x^2+y^2)

2(3x-y)(3x+y)(9x^2+y^2)


So 162x^4-2y^4 completely factors to 2(3x-y)(3x+y)(9x^2+y^2)

In other words, 162x^4-2y^4 = 2(3x-y)(3x+y)(9x^2+y^2)
