Question 416961: In hyperbola, Which is greater, transverse axis or conjugate axis? Found 2 solutions by Gogonati, math-vortex:Answer by Gogonati(855) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! I disagree. You might be thinking of the major and minor axes in an ellipse.
In a hyperbola, the transverse axis can be longer, shorter, or of the same length as the conjugate axis.
The foci, vertices, and center all lie on the transverse axis. The conjugate axis is perpendicular to the transverse axis and also passes through the center of the hyperbola.
