Hi
Note: Standard Equation for an ellipse is %28x-h%29%5E2%2Fa%5E2+%2B+%28y-k%29%5E2%2Fb%5E2+=+1
where Pt(h,k) is the center and vertices are determined by distance of a and b from center.
x%5E2%2F36+%2B+y%5E2%2F16+=+1 In this case: Pt(0,0) is the Center.
Vertices (-6,0) and (6,0). (0,-4) and (0,4)
Foci: c^2 = 36-16 = 20 c = 2sqrt(5)=4.47 Foci are (4.47,0) and (4.47,0)
Minor axis is x = 0
