Step 1: Take an Algebra II or Pre-Calculus Mathematics class. Study very hard.
Step 2: Repeat Step 1 until your understanding of conic sections, in particular parabolas, is full and complete.
Step 3: At a minimum, earn a Bachelor of Science in Education (K-12).
Step 3a: (Optional) obtain a Master of Science or a Doctorate in Education specializing in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment.
Step 4: Obtain a Teaching Credential in your state of residence.
At least that is how I would go about it.
