Compare to the vertex form, y=a%28x-h%29%5E2%2Bk where the vertex is (h,k).
Comparing, (h,k)=(2,7)
The y-coordinate is 7.

(h,k )are the co-ordinates of the parabola y^2= a(h-k)^2+k
This is in the vertex form so the co-ordinates of vertex are (2,7)
