Hint: Plug y=x-3 into x=y%5E2-4 to get x=%28x-3%29%5E2-4. From there, get the quadratic in standard form and then use the quadratic formula to solve. Once you have your solutions in terms of 'x', use them to find the solutions in terms of 'y'.
