You can put this solution on YOUR website! .
a parkway 80 feet wide is spanned by a parabolic arch 100 feet long along the horizontal. if the parkway
is 60 feet wide, the minimum clearance 15 feet and the parabolic arch is 25 feet high, how long is the arch?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The condition says at first that "a parkway is 80 feet wide",
then says next time "the parkway is 60 feet wide",
giving two different values to the same quantity.
I do not trust the problem, when it defines variables in such a self-contradictory way.
