You can put this solution on YOUR website!
6x%5E2%2By%5E2=36......both sides divide by 36
6x%5E2%2F36%2By%5E2%2F36=36%2F36.
x%5E2%2F6%2By%5E2%2F36=1.............since there is no h and k, both are equal to zero, so
the center is at (0,0)
a%5E2=36.....major axis is vertical and b%5E2=6 is horizontal axis
the length of a=6 and a=-6
b=sqrt%286%29=2.5
the length of b=2.5 and b=-2.5

Center: (h, k)=(0, 0)
Vertices: (0, 6) or (0,-6)
Foci: (0, 5.5) or (0,-5.5)
Co-vertices: (0 ± 2.5, 2.5) or (2.5,0), and (-2.5,0)

Length of Major Axis: 2a=12
Length of Minor Axis: 2b=5
