Question 584390: Hi, I'm confused on how to find the simplest radical form. I know the process of how to get to the number which you have to simplify, but I do not know how to simplify.
Find the answer of x. Leave your answer in simpleest radical form.
This is what I've gotten so far:

a^2+b^2=c^2 ------> 5^2+4^2=c^2 ----->25+16=c^2 ----> sqrt(c^2)= sqrt(41)
Now, how do I put that "sqrt(c^2)= sqrt(41)" into simplest radical form? It'd really help! Thank you.

Find the other two distances between cities. "
That is the math problem. So far all I could tell was that the miles from city B to city C and from city C to city A is 800 miles. The figure is a right triangle in which side BA is the longest, AC is the middle one in length and BC is the shortest side. Please help, I have an exam tomorrow and I do not understand how to solve this excercise.
Thank you
