Question 413821: I know how to do a problem that has the hypotenuse (C) with the measure, but on the problem i have now it gave me side A and side B and didn't give me the C, so how do I set up this equation? cause normally it would be c2 = a2 + b2 ...but i don't have C

Question 427243: If a rectangular TV screen is 45 cm long and and 32 cm wide, what is the diagonal measurement of the screen?
I tried 45^2 + 32^2 = X^2, but i am not sure this is the correct answer.
2025 + 1024 = X^2
sqrt ( 3049 ) = x
x = 55.22 cm long?
