Find the radius  r  as the hypotenuse of the right-angled triangle with the legs  12 cm  and  13 cm:

r = sqrt%2812%5E2+%2B+13%5E2%29 = sqrt%28144+%2B+169%29 = sqrt%28313%29 = 17.692 (approximately).
