If the shorter leg (a) is 1, then the longer leg (b) is at least 3. That would make the hypotenuse (c) = 3.162. That fits the parameters.
If (a) = 2, then (b) = at least 6. That makes the hypotenuse 5.291.
Since it's "more than three times the shorter leg", any positive number will fit the equation.
