Question 372288: I believe that I encountered a Pythagorean problem in which it could be worked with only knowing the length of one leg. It involved using a ratio between the two legs. Do I remember correctly and, if so, what are the ratios involved?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Yes, it would be possible to compute for all the sides of the right triangle, because by then there would only be one variable (if indeed there is a ratio between the two legs). Actually it is also possible to solve for the right triangle if one leg is given, and the ratio between the two unknown legs is known.
